Why me?

Erin
I am a graduate student in a health field. I am not skinny, but I am at a very healthy weight. Rather than gaining the freshman 15, I lost about that much my freshman year of college. Since then, I have successfully maintained my weight, within a 5 pound margin. I have suffered from disordered eating in the past, but I've learned to be kind to my body. I strive to keep it in the most healthy condition possible. Because I still think about food a lot, I plan to channel this energy into my blog. I have defeated an unhealthy lifestyle and formed nutritious habits, despite the negative forces of the college experience tempting me otherwise. The number of college women with disordered eating habits is growing, and that makes me sad. My goal is to help younger students avoid making the same mistakes as me, because I understand their situation. I have a feeling this blog will help me as much, or more than them. Please share any thoughts through comments or e-mail studentbodyblog@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you.
